Dr Dixon is an orthopaedic specialist of the lower limb with a particular interest in arthritis and sports injuries.
The Fellowship encompasses learning the direct anterior approach to the hip; assessing patients before surgery for suitability for this procedure; following them through rehabilitation; undertaking outcomes research; and observing a variety of hip arthroscopic procedures.

Dr Brighton sub-specialises in hip and knee replacements, knee arthroscopy and knee ligament reconstruction.
This Fellowship will provide exposure to moderately complex primary joint replacements of the knee, hip and shoulder and revision arthroplasties. You will participate in departmental meetings and undertake research for peer review on a six monthly basis.
The Fellowship is an integral part of the Orthopaedic Unit of the University of Melbourne (Western Health). The Fellowship is principally concerned with the teaching of orthopaedic aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery.
