Prof Khan completed his basic medical degree in London (Guy’s Hospital), and specialist training in Cambridge. He undertook a Fellowship in Perth and has been in practice in Perth since 2005. As a professor at Notre Dame University and the University of Western Australia he and his team have helped establish Perth as a world-class centre for orthopaedic research. Prof Khan's areas of expertise include hip and knee arthroplasty, trauma and sports surgery. He currently works at St John of God Hospital Geraldton and Hollywood Private Hospital.
