Dr Annear specialises in ACL reconstruction, lower limb sports surgery including groin and hamstring surgery, lower limb arthritis surgery and paediatric orthopaedics.

He completed his orthopaedic Fellowship in 1994 and subsequently undertook paediatric Fellowships in the UK in 1995 and in the USA in 1996. This was followed by a knee Fellowship under Dr John Bartlett in Melbourne in 1997.

Dr Annear is now a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with the West Coast Eagles Australian Rules Football Club and consults in West Perth.
