Orthopaedic Fellowship Information
The Fellowship encompasses all aspects of clinical involvement in hip and knee arthroplasty (primary and revision) management as well as hip preservation procedures, knee sports medical reconstruction work and arthroscopic hip and knee procedures in a busy 14-member group practice. It also includes assessment of new patients, surgical treatment at assistant level (with level of responsibility dependent on the proficiency demonstrated), post-operative care and rehabilitation. The Fellow’s specific interest will dictate his/her clinical involvement. The successful candidate is required to complete two research projects to the level of final draft during the tenure of the Fellowship. The supervisor of the research project rotates within the subspecialty group and will depend on the subspecialty interest of the Fellow and the supervisor.
