Associate Professor Mercer is the Head of the Orthopaedic Department at the Repatriation General Hospital in Adelaide. He oversees and provides support of all clinical trials conducted within the Department.
Dr Burrow’s specialises in shoulder and knee surgery with an interest in arthroscopic surgery for sporting injuries, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, knee ligament injuries and surgery for shoulder and knee arthritis.
Professor Walsh’s research is at the interface between implanted materials and the connective tissues of the body as it relates to orthopaedic, plastic and reconstructive and vascular surgery.
Dr Keeley’s interests are hip and knee surgery, complex trauma surgery and deformity correction. He has a strong research interest in teaching activities involving orthopaedic trainees, medical students and nurses.
The Fellowship encompasses all aspects of clinical involvement in sports orthopaedic management in a busy group practice, including assessment of new patients, surgical treatment at assistant level, post-operative care and rehabilitation.
This Fellowship will provide extensive training to recent orthopaedic graduates in the diagnosis and management of hip and knee arthroplasty, arthroscopy and the specialised osseointegration for above knee amputees.
Dr Cheung has an interest in all areas of adult spinal conditions and utilises both open and minimally invasive techniques in the management of acute and chronic spinal disorders.
Dr Rimmington is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in knee surgery, shoulder surgery, sports injuries and ligament reconstruction.

Mr Gonzalvo specialises in spinal and skull base surgery with expertise in keyhole and microsurgery of the spine, complex reconstructive interventions for spinal fractures and deformity.
