Dr Inglis has a particular interest in degenerative conditions of the hip and knee including primary replacement, revision surgeries and direct anterior approach hip replacements. He also performs general orthopaedic surgery, including knee reconstructions, shoulder arthroscopies and adult trauma surgery.
At Orthopaedics SA, Dr Inglis consults privately at Flinders Private, Angaston, Balaklava and Ashford Hospitals. He is also Head of the Orthopaedic Unit at the Repatriation General Hospital and Director of Arthroplasty for the Southern Adelaide Health Network. He will review all patients including Work Cover and Third Party, and operates with no gap for privately insured patients.
Upon completing his medical training at the Flinders University and attaining the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery), Dr Inglis worked with national and international surgeons undertaking hip and knee arthroplasty including the direct anterior approach. In addition to clinical practice, he is a Lecturer in Orthopaedic Surgery at Flinders University and has research projects focused on outcomes of the direct anterior approach and enhanced care of arthroplasty patients; hip and knee direct anterior approach hip replacements; orthopaedic trauma and general orthopaedics.
