Orthopaedic Fellowship Information
This Fellowship will be under the principal direction of Professor Ross Crawford. The Fellow will also have contact with the Orthopaedic Surgeons at the Prince Charles Hospital and will also operate under the guidance of Dr Scott Crawford, the Director of Orthopaedics at Prince Charles Hospital. The Fellowship will be a combined Clinical and Research Fellowship. The clinical component will be at both the Prince Charles Hospital and the Holy Spirit Northside Hospital. Primary and revision joint replacement with an emphasis on impaction grafting will form the majority of the clinical exposure.
There will be no on call commitment or need for the Fellow to work weekends. Each Wednesday morning there is a clinical meeting at the Prince Charles Hospital, which the Fellow will attend. The Fellow will have access to a biomechanic laboratory at the Queensland University of Technology. Access to an animal facility for research will be available at MERF.
Stipend

AU$75,000 - AU$80,000 pa
