This Fellowship is aimed at Fellows wishing to gain experience with diseases of the knee and arthroplasty, particularly in the sports medicine environment. The Fellowship is offered through the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre.
This Fellowship will provide exposure to moderately complex primary joint replacements of the knee, hip and shoulder and revision arthroplasties. You will participate in departmental meetings and undertake research for peer review on a six monthly basis.
Dr Liu specialises in hip and knee surgery with a particular interest in reconstruction of the sports injured knee, surgical treatment of hip and knee arthritis and computer navigated knee replacement surgery.
Associate Professor Walter’s interest is in hip and knee issues from arthroscopic procedures, straightforward joint replacement surgery to highly complex conditions.
The Fellow will gain further experience and training in all aspects of adult hip and knee joint arthroplasty, including arthroscopic knee ligament reconstruction, in a busy metropolitan practice.
