He is a Queensland trained orthopaedic surgeon and obtained his medical degree at the University of NSW in 1999.

Following early orthopaedic exposure with trauma at Liverpool and St George Hospital in Sydney, Dr Radovanovic completed his advanced training in Queensland whilst working at the Mater, Cairns Base, QEII and Princess Alexandra Hospitals.
