Orthopaedic Fellowship Information

All aspects of hip, knee and shoulder replacement as well as arthroplasty, arthroscopy and arthroscopic reconstruction. Both Dr Leong and Dr Trantalis have a close association with professional/elite Australian sporting teams and their medical staff. The Fellow will be included in the assessment and management of these elite level injured athletes. The arthroscopic/sports surgery component will include hip arthroscopic surgery (management of labraltears, femoro-acetabular/ extra-articular impingement, chondral injury, loose bodies), arthroscopic and open sports knee surgery (meniscal repair, ligament reconstruction, chondral reparation and osteotomy) and all facets of arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
