Mr Shimmin has performed over 10,000 surgical procedures with special expertise in hip and knee joint replacement and arthroscopy and knee reconstruction of injured athletes.
The Fellowship encompasses learning the direct anterior approach to the hip; assessing patients before surgery for suitability for this procedure; following them through rehabilitation; undertaking outcomes research; and observing a variety of hip arthroscopic procedures.
Dr Molnar specialises in pelvic and lower extremity trauma with interest in hip and knee reconstructive procedures and replacements using minimally invasive techniques and computer navigation.
This Fellowship focuses on the reconstructive and arthroplasty surgery of the hip and knee joints. The Fellow will be involved in pre-operative evaluation and surgery in a large and busy joint replacement practice.
Dr Broe specialises in joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee, arthroscopic and ligament reconstruction of the knee and arthroscopic/mini-open surgery for femoroacetabular impingement of the hip.
Associate Professor Labrom has a special interest in scoliosis surgery in both children and adults. He treats all types of scoliosis and other paediatric spinal conditions with both non-operative and surgical methods.
The Fellowship is principally concerned with the teaching of orthopaedic aspects of shoulder, elbow and knee surgery. Experience in this area includes arthroscopic reconstruction and joint replacement.
Dr Hazratwala specialises in lower limb and trauma with special interests in adult total hip and knee replacements and adult revision (previously failed or painful) hip and knee replacements.
Dr Janes specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee and hip. He trained in orthopaedic surgery in the UK and Perth and achieved his orthopaedic Fellowship in 1994.
