The goal of the Fellowship is to gain instruction and expertise in the assessment, planning and surgical management of all lower limb arthroplasty procedures.
Mr Lording is a locally and internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon specialising in surgery of the knee. He also has an active interest in clinical and biomechanical research.
Dr Grujic specialises in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery including foot and ankle trauma, arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries and reconstructive surgery.
The Fellowship focuses on the Fellow obtaining a broad knowledge of all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. The Fellow will experience elective and trauma foot and ankle surgery and become competent performing such surgery.
Mr Shimmin has performed over 10,000 surgical procedures with special expertise in hip and knee joint replacement and arthroscopy and knee reconstruction of injured athletes.
Dr Herald specialises in the management of sports injuries, trauma and arthritis of the shoulder, elbow and knee and is a current examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).
Mr Byrne specialises in reconstruction of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle including joint replacement, sports injuries and arthroscopic intervention and complex revision surgery.
Dr Walter has had a strong interest in hip and knee replacement surgery since the 1970s, when first undertaken in Australia. He is among the most respected surgeons in Australia.
Dr Keeley’s interests are hip and knee surgery, complex trauma surgery and deformity correction. He has a strong research interest in teaching activities involving orthopaedic trainees, medical students and nurses.
Associate Professor Mercer is the Head of the Orthopaedic Department at the Repatriation General Hospital in Adelaide. He oversees and provides support of all clinical trials conducted within the Department.
