Mr Collopy specialises in hip and knee replacement, revision arthroplasty and pelvic and acetabular trauma.
This Fellowship will focus on all aspects of upper limb surgery including trauma and elective reconstruction, sufficient to enter sub-specialty practice if desired. This includes arthroplasty, arthroscopic surgery and microsurgery.
Dr Carmody’s main interest is conditions of the foot, ankle and knee. His Fellowship training had an emphasis on arthroscopic techniques for treating arthritis and sports injuries.
Professor Carey Smith is part of the University Department of Orthopaedics at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. His clinical interests focus on orthopaedic oncology and complex lower limb reconstruction.
Fellows will be exposed to both hip and knee arthroplasty, primary and revision and ligament/soft tissue reconstructions of the knee.
Professor Walsh’s research is at the interface between implanted materials and the connective tissues of the body as it relates to orthopaedic, plastic and reconstructive and vascular surgery.
