Orthopaedic Fellowship Information
This Fellowship involves arthroscopic surgery of the hip and knee, reconstructive surgery of the knee, total knee and total hip replacement and revision surgery. The Fellow will be involved in biomechanical research as well as clinical research of all types of hip and knee surgery. The Fellow will be with one surgeon 2.5 days per week and in the research laboratory for 2.5 days per week or as required. The Fellow will be involved with the orthopaedic units of Repatriation General Hospital Concord and The Sydney Private Hospital, including pre and post-operative evaluation of patients requiring long-term x-ray analysis of joint replacements.

Basic research would be in biomechanics as well as animal studies relevant to joint replacements and sports medicine research.
