Orthopaedic Fellowship Information
The Fellowship will provide experience in total hip and knee arthroplasty using the latest techniques. Approximately 400 primary hip and knee replacements are performed each year, along with revision hip and knee surgery and arthroscopic knee surgery. Activities will include patient consultation, surgical assisting, perioperative patient care and research. Fellows are expected to produce at least one research project suitable for presentation at an international meeting and subsequent publication. As the Fellowship is entirely in the private sector, there is no scope for independent operating.
Stipend

AU$80,000 pa

Minimum Requirements

- Qualified orthopaedic surgeon or within two years of completion of training
- Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia
- English language proficiency: sc
