This Fellowship will provide exposure to moderately complex primary joint replacements of the knee, hip and shoulder and revision arthroplasties. You will participate in departmental meetings and undertake research for peer review on a six monthly basis.
This Fellowship will provide extensive training to recent orthopaedic graduates in the diagnosis and management of hip and knee arthroplasty, arthroscopy and the specialised osseointegration for above knee amputees.
The Fellow will have a keen interest to further their clinical knowledge and practical skills. It is predominantly a hip and knee private practice experience with a public hospital affiliation.
This Fellowship involves exposure to all aspects of hip and knee arthroplasty surgery including new robotic innovations.
The Fellow will work with Dr Burrow, whose particular interest is in arthroscopic surgery for sporting injuries, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, knee ligament injuries as well as surgery for shoulder and knee arthritis.
The major focus of the Fellowship is to train in arthroscopic reconstruction techniques involving minimally invasive surgery of the hip.
