Orthopaedic Fellowship Information
This is a pure research Fellowship to work with our Research Committee on a number of ongoing studies. The Fellowship is deigned to develop the academic career of a highly motivated individual though multidisciplinary orthopaedic research on multiple existing and new research projects. The Research Fellow will work closely with a number of orthopaedic surgeons and be involved in both database and clinical research. Activities include research planning and design as well as data collection and analysis. Some research projects can involve basic science including dissections and cell biology. The Fellow may also design and complete IRBs, review clinical data and measure x-rays. The Fellow is expected to submit and present abstracts at research meetings and conferences and prepare papers for publication. The Fellowship will also involve regular meetings with supervising surgeons, participation in the journal club and attendance at orthopaedic rounds. They will also be involved in database research involving a number of online databases.
Please note that at present, this Fellowship is not funded and you will need to provide your own financial support.
